As Macedonia City Council returned last week to start a new year of governance, three council members began their new terms of service.

Returning council members Jessica Brandt and Matt Ferraro were sworn in by Mayor Nick Molnar before the start of Thursday’s meeting. We thank them for their continued dedication and leadership on behalf of our community.

Sue Cummings, who was newly elected to City Council, was sworn in during a private ceremony in December by Summit County Councilwoman Rita Darrow. We look forward to her service to the City of Macedonia.

During Thursday’s council meeting, Ms. Darrow presented outgoing council member Vini Ventura with a proclamation on behalf of Summit County, commending him for his work as a City of Macedonia councilman and his many years of public service to the greater community.
