At its Jan. 8 meeting, Macedonia City Council approved the 2026 Road Improvement Program, which outlines which streets will be repaved next year.

Streets scheduled for repaving in 2026:

🚧Chinaberry South
🚧Harper
🚧Cherry
🚧Vernon
🚧Firestone (from Isabelle to Robinwood)
🚧North Spring Hill

City Engineer Joe Gigliotti also shared an update on the overall condition of Macedonia’s roads. The City uses a Pavement Condition Rating (PCR) system, which is based on visual inspections of road wear and damage.

Good news: The average condition of Macedonia’s public roads has improved significantly — rising from 73.2 in 2015 to 87.7 in 2025, an improvement of 14.5 points.
