Last night, the Nordonia Girls Flag Football Team was honored at the Macedonia City Council meeting for making history as the inaugural OHSAA Girls Flag Football State Champions!

Mayor Nick Molnar presented the team with a proclamation recognizing their remarkable season and unveiled the State Champions sign that will soon be displayed along SR-82.

The Knights finished the regular season 10-0, won their division, and compiled an outstanding 15-1 overall record. In the state championship game, they rallied from behind, scored the go-ahead touchdown with just one minute remaining, and sealed the victory with a game-clinching interception.
