The Nordonia Hills Branch Library will close for a year-long renovation project beginning next month. The renovation will include new private study rooms, updated spaces for children and teens, a much-needed roof replacement, and other building improvements.
Before the doors close, the Library invites the community to a "See You Later!" celebration on Saturday, Aug. 1:
- 1 p.m. – Building Our Future Town Hall featuring project updates, naming opportunities, and a preview of the redesign.
- 1:30-4 p.m. – Family fun with face painting, balloon art, carnival games, karaoke, and food provided by the Friends of the Library.
Library service will continue during construction:
- A Book Trailer will be available in the Nordonia Hills Branch parking lot every Tuesday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for browsing, holds pickup, checkouts, and returns.
- The outdoor book drop will remain open throughout the renovation, and library programs will continue at off-site locations.
