Congratulations Bryan Schumann, Service Department…Employee of the Month
Bryan began his employ with the City of Macedonia on April 2, 2013 as a tradesman and then recently appointed as the Service Department’s Working Foreman.
Bryan’s certifications include licensed electrician, fire alarm certified, holds an OSHA 30 card, has 1500 hours in HVAC accredited through Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, certified in AB (Underground storage tanks) and attended Kent State.
Bryan enjoys the diversity of his job. His job encompasses electrical work, trades in carpentry, masonry, plumbing and various other maintenance service jobs. He loves to work outdoors. Bryan looks forward to the City’s annual Fun Fest where he is part of the preparation running electrical wiring to provide a safe and fun-filled event for the community.
Bryan was born and raised in Macedonia, parents William and Bernadine. His dad was a WWII Veteran. Bryan stated he learned a lot about hard work and work ethic through his Dad. Bryan stated he is the man he is today because of his Dad and his proud to give back to the community.
Bryan enjoys attending concerts, prefers vacationing on a beach with plenty of sun; also enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and just enjoying the outdoors with his girlfriend, Julie.
