COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE – 3/13/2020
Please be advised that, effective the close of business today, March 13, 2020, the City Recreation Center will be closed to the public. This closure is being taken as a precautionary protective measure in light of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, outbreak. The Recreation Center, and all events that had been scheduled to occur at the Recreation Center, will remain cancelled for the foreseeable future by order of the City’s Mayor/Safety Director. The City will continue to closely monitor this situation and coordinate its response to the outbreak with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other pertinent health authorities. Once the risk has been mitigated, the Recreation Center and Recreation Center events will resume.
The Recreation Center will still operate as a polling location on Tuesday, March 17. REFUNDS/CREDITS/EXTENSIONS
- PROGRAMS: Refunds will be issued for all cancelled programs.
- BIRTHDAY PARTIES: Renters will be notified and will have the ability to reschedule or be issued a refund.
- MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS: Refunds will not be given. Pass expirations will be extended by the amount of time we are closed.
- ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS: Refunds will not be given. Pass expirations will be extended by the amount of time we are closed. FUTURE UPDATES
