An update from ReWorks:
The May 2, 2020 Document Shredding and Recycling Event is canceled. We do understand that our Document Shredding and Recycling events are well attended and liked by many Summit County residents and businesses. (And that many of you were looking forward to the event.)
As you are most likely aware, as of April 15, 2020, the stay at home order here in Ohio is until May 1st, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. ReWorks discussed and reviewed how to appropriately plan for an event considering two scenarios: 1) the day after a stay at home order was lifted or 2) if the order would be extended.
We determined it would be best to cancel under the circumstances.
While we are not an agency that governs health, we do follow the guidelines that are in place by our Summit County Public Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We hope that you understand our decision is in line with efforts to prevent the spread of illness.
Our thoughts are with those who are fighting to stem the progress of COVID-19 and those who are affected by this virus.
Thank you for your patience at this time and we will continue to provide updates.
